SE: hotkeys - question - for Pierre
Is it possible to use different actions for LMB, MMB, RMB, or even wheel up/down? I mean if I press any mouse button in context menu on thumbnail/other item.

Limited...

- Unfortunately, the most mice we have noawadays are using a maker's setting-soft + driver, hence this soft¦driver takes precedence, and combinations you could wish using the MB (all) would't work in the most cases…
- In example, here my Logitech® mouse ignores totally the new short cuts with the mouse-buttons combinations…

There are no special commands for other MB in ShellEx now.Clo wrote:- Unfortunately, the most mice we have noawadays are using a maker's setting-soft + driver, hence this soft¦driver takes precedence, and combinations you could wish using the MB (all) would't work in the most cases…
That's because you (probably) don't use MMB as MMB, but for a special command.Clo wrote:- In example, here my Logitech® mouse ignores totally the new short cuts with the mouse-buttons combinations…

Hello !
- Indeed, the middle-click is used for the auto-scroll (gesture style). The snag is that I've a pretty bunch of options for this middle-click… except “Do nothing" ! Or something similar, making the button available for apps. and their short cuts… It could be the same with other makers' softs…

I'll suggest options that would be good also for mouse with 2 buttons. I just need to know if I can suggest also more possibilities - Pierre?

Re: SE: hotkeys - question
OK, now mouse wheel works as 'hide/close' context menu, so enough maybe...xnview wrote:No, i have no way to know if it's LMB, RMB or MMB....Dreamer wrote:Pierre could you tell me please?
