ECW Format and xnview 1.82.4

I don't manage to view ECW format ?? I've got the last version of xnview and GFL SDK v2.54.

Is it impossible ??

Hello !

• The ECW format is supported -read and write - but needs the Wavelet plugin.
- Please, get it from the XnView site (there is an archive containing all plugins to download) and place it in the <Plugins> sub-directory of the programme.
- You can know which formats are supported by the programme >> Info menu, or better directly here where you can get them sorted by extensions.

As Clo has pointed out already, you need the ECW plugin for XnView for reading the ECW files. I've installed the plug-in just very recently and it does work (XnView 1.82).

- The discussion about that issue is continued in this French thread.
- In brief : Although hackel has installed the plugin alright, that doesn't work anymore…
- Hence, we are waiting for the Pierre's opinion, maybe the issue is the 2.2 version of the ECW compressor, so Pierre needs a sample, and an updade of that plugin could be necessary, perhaps.
- Anyway, we'll report the progress about that problem here (if any…), because I guess that's interesting for all users.
