My info file is is printed in windwings.

Post by DICEASE »

I try to print images fitting it on a sheet and i put directory and filename with extension, the image is printed ok but the letters are windwings font, i tried to change it in options, deleting the xnview.ini and searching [print] in the ini, and of course installing the latest version, and there is no chance to print in any other font.

Can anybody please help me?

@Pierre: Please reread the post.

I have no clue why all the text in your prints are in Wingdings. I guess that XnView uses default font of Windows for printing. Or perhaps a specific font which is not available on your system. I think only Pierre knows.

It sounds weird, but the fonts used by MS Word depend on the printer installed. Perhaps this problem is a bit similar, you might want to check your printer settings and printer installation. Does printing work in other applications? Which Windows platforms (95, 98, ...) do you use?

FYI, I confirm it is printer specific.
I have the same problem as DICEASE when I try to print on an HP LaserJet 5100 (using WinXP), but it does not happen on the other printers I've tried.
I cannot find anything in the printer configuration that could explain this.
