XnView-win-full.exe does not install on Windows Vista Beta 2 (but xnview.exe from the XnView-win-full.zip file executes without installation !?!).

That's partly true. But I would expect no problems with XnView on Vista. I think Walter should just give it a try. Installation might be an issue, at first Walter could try to use the ZIP archive rather than the Setup.ckit wrote:Pierre can't add support for Windows Vista until it is out of beta and has gone Retail.

Another bug...
Another issue in Vista:
I cannot get vista to add the "View in XnView" shortcut to contextmenus. If I check the checkbox and go back again, it's gone.
However: if I open XnView as administrator (rightclick the shortcut and choose "Run as adminisrator", it does work! So, it is a rights issue, but since Winamp can add those shortcuts, XnView should be able too...
