You can't directly burn sld, you can burn slideshow (from sld)

You can either burn a CD with
a.) The images, XnView, and the .sld file
This is described in the XnView Online help.

b.) Generate an executable slideshow (*.exe).
In slide show dialog ("Create > Slideshow"), select "Create EXE/SCR" button to create one executable file containing the slide show and all your images.
