XnView 1.82.4 cannot open JBIG files

I download the version 1.82.4 to display JBIG2 pictures but it seems an unaivalable format.
On the web site JBIG is announce as available !

Can i load JBIG pictures with XnView ?

JBIG is listed as a supported format after extra plugins are installed.

It works perfectly with my JBIG2 images.

I just installed the plugins.

XnView now recognises the JBIG (.jbg) file ... but crashes as soon as file is opened.

Any idea wht is the reason ... solution ?

I found out that I can only open JBIG files from within the XnView explorer, once I have activated the visualisation of JBIG files - in explorer - from the 'options" menu ...

I cannot open a JBIG file either by double clicking, or by dragging the file to XnView, or if another program (such as my internet browser) calls for XnView : all this cause a crash. (under XP Pro)
