Re: yuv16
Hi Thomas,
I have hoped to find a free YUV16 viewer, too.
But I haven't yet. (It always works for expensive HW+SW systems...)
If I find anything, I'll let you know.
Hi Pierre,
Unfortunately, I don't know about the format detail. But I can provide the sample files. I'll send a message about them to you by e-mail.

Re: yuv16
Hi, i am currently working on down/uploading images from/to a DVS Prontoserver under OSX. Download works fine but upload is displayed by the Server with fields separated although the uploaded .yuv file created by nconvert looks fine.tonau wrote: YUV16 can be opened by DVS products, Avid DS and etc.
Is there an option to control this ?
Is that a problem of the mentioned YUV16 format ?
Is there anybody out there who has successfully worked this out with a DVS product ?

Could you send me a sample?Flintz wrote:*bump*
I ran exactly into the same problem: having *.yuv16 and *.yuv10 files here and absolutely no way to view them with any tools whatsoever.
Does anyone have a hint? I need to view the original frames to ensure our conversion doesn't introduce errors
Pierre.
