For all I know Pierre/Sören simply has to place a 16x16 pixel icon file named "favicon.ico" in the root dir on the web server to make this work.

Pretty sure - for all I know Microsoft introduced this "special", non-standard feature and now more browsers support it. For all I know, for Internet Explorer you will see the icon only if you have set a bookmark to that website.xnview wrote:favicon.ico? Not sure what your front door is: Do you use http://newsgroup.xnview.com/ ?Irving wrote:While on the subject of sites, what's wrong with this one? You can't bookmark it without all the extra clicks of going through the front door. And there's two scrollbars, as if this is in frames.
How about a separate door for the forum?
