I don't get the crash.
(On XP-SP2 +I deleted my previous versions INI and DB)

Also XP + SP2
The new beta 1.92 was copied from the .zip downloaded file in a new folder (not windows installation)
the old version remains on another folder.

I cannot reproduce this bug.
Try deleting everything in "C:\Program Files\XnView\cache" and then test again.
AMD Ryzen 3 3300X 3.8Ghz, 16Gb DDR4, RX6600XT with Dell U2520D at 2560x1440@60Hz scaling 125%
Win11 x64 24H2, Hard Disk Sentinel Pro, MS PowerToys, Process Lasso Pro and Wintoys

Great. I use multiple versions simultaneously, and have seen a crash likely caused by this experimentation. Please start new topic if you think you find something new and unique to this version.
