Shift or Ctrl and mouse-wheel zooming

Post by Koogle »

Thanks for the new beta :)

[*] to reset zoom to 100% doesn't work in view or fullscreen mode anymore

and do you think it would be possible to add an option to use [shift] as a [ctrl] key when using the mousewheel to zoom in and out.. maybe allow the user to have [ctrl], [shift] etc user defined so they can set what those keys do when they use the mousewheel with one of those keys held down?

and last thing maybe you could add hotkey display/editor into the options panel so people can see what hotkeys can be used.. maybe at a later time allow it the hotkeys to be changed in the options too

2. What about right mouse button + wheel, or left button + wheel / right button + left to zoom 100%, very useful.

1 is a duplicate (closed) while 2 needs more discussion for correct implementation (personal preferences, accessibility, etc...).

I move this topic to 'Postponed' => we'll need to look at 2 for next version.

Have a look at this topic, it should work fine, but existing mouse shortcuts are better IMHO.
