Use Folder.jpg as folder thumbnail image
Hi,
Following on from this thread:

I would really really like to be able to control what image the folder uses as a thumbnail image, could we have an option to make XnView do what Windows Explorer does in that if there's an image in the folder called Folder.jpg it uses that as the folder thumbnail image?
Cheers,
Simon.

Re: Use Folder.jpg as folder thumbnail image
Could you try to disabled thumbnail column in option/File list/Folder?SimesB wrote:Hi,

I don't understand why unchecking this option would allow to display a specific image for the folder...xnview wrote:Sorry try to uncheck Folder in Option/File list for 'Show as thumbnails'

Instead, XnView should check whether there is an image called "folder.jpg" in the folder and use it in priority to any other image(s) (including '4 in 1')... when 'Show as thumbnails' is checked, of course.
