resolution in properties window wrong

There seems to me to be a problem with the resolution given under properties, image information. If I open a jpg which I can see is 180 dpi in the exif (straight from my camera), I get a resolution of ??? x ???

I have version 1.91, on Windows XP, using French language settings

Do you have enabled option/general/Use EXIF DPI?

I have enabled it, quit xnview, and then looked at the image - still ???x???

Any ideas?
