I have some .wbc files that I want to convert for use. They were files created from the Webshots software several years ago, but no longer work with Webshots. I was referred by FilExt.com.
Can you help?

Welcome to the forum, David. A search for "wbc" leads to topic Webshots file support. With description in topic "Does XnView support graphic format .xyz?" you can find out about the formats supported by XnView.

If you want to convert them for use in newer webshots software, you'll probably have to convert to JPG and then use the webshots software to make the JPGs back into a useable webshots file. Although, I think you'd be better off dumping the websahots software altogether, and using some other slideshow screensaver and/or wallpaper changer, one that uses standard formats like JPG and PNG.

Something along the lines of WBC2JPG then? Leaving it out of xnview is by far the smart move, or webshots' lawyers will by coming after the site; not a good idea. Take a look at the home page for the program above: It's replaced by a takedown notice.
