Yes, Xnview doesn't currently extract the embedded jpeg (with edits) in a batch process. In its sophisticated batch options it will extract the original raw image and save as jpeg (or in many other formats) according to a number of quality and/or "speed" options.
Since Xnview has the option to preview and/or display NEF raw image or the embedded jpeg (with Capture NX edits) it seems that it could be implemented quite easily. To this end I might suggest it to the author. "

So ... would the batch extraction of the jpgs embedded in NEFs be relatively easy to implement?
