I use the current version of Xnview (1.91.5), other colleagues Version 1.80.
I want to transmit my configuration to other PCs - is it possible to use my 1.91-ini in a 1.80 version? Or is is necessary to configure the old version by config-menu?

Same xnview.ini for versions 1.91 and 1.80?

Same xnview.ini for versions 1.91 and 1.80?
XnViewMP <Current version> German, XnConvert <Current version>, Win 10

• The newest current version is 1.91.6…I use the current version of Xnview (1.91.5), …
• I think that you might not attempt to do so.… is it possible to use my 1.91-ini in a 1.80 version? Or is is necessary to configure the old version by config-menu?
A mountain of entries have been added¦changed since the 1.8… versions which indeed don't support them.
- Hence, you can only tweak the INIs of 1.80 to match yours from the Options or by hand,
but only for the items which existed already (and have not been changed).

Note : BTW, why your colleagues don't upgrade their “XnView” ?

So you mean that the old program will take the unchanged functions (settings) and will ignore the new ones?xnview wrote: You can try, not all settings will be used for 1.80
