I have two PSD files in a folder with some other JPEG's and PNG's and they get added when setting up a slideshow so I can't confirm this bug.

@difo.pol: Ich hoffe du kannst Englisch lesen/schreiben. Falls nicht, dann poste kurz hier.

Ok, adding a folder instead of just selecting files and I can reproduce the problem too.helmut wrote:I could reproduce the problem:

I would think so.helmut wrote:Shouldn't all formats specified in "Options > Formats" be supported here?
So this should probably be considered a small bug as difo.pol suggests rather than a feature addition as you might think from reading Pierre's reply.
But it doesn't really matter does it

Although it might be interesting to know if there are possibly other formats that have this behavior.

No, i add only the most used format, else you'll have non picture filehelmut wrote:Shouldn't all formats specified in "Options > Formats" be supported here?xnview wrote:Ok, i'll add .psd toohelmut wrote:I could reproduce the problem:

Kleiner Bug in Diashow [German]
First: Sorry for posting in German. I recognized too late that this is an english spoken forum.
Is there a patch for using the feature to put *PSD-File to the slide show?

No problem. Since you speak English, too, I've edited the subject.difo.pol wrote:First: Sorry for posting in German. I recognized too late that this is an english spoken forum.
Normally, patches are only provided for serious bugs, so I guess you have to wait till the next official release. Is there a patch for using the feature to put *PSD-File to the slide show?
Currently, all a bit less common file types are not added when using 'Add folder'. I think XnView should know which file types are images, which are sounds, and which are videos. As a consequence, XnView should exactly know which files to add in the slide show. This should not be just the most common ones (+ PSD).xnview wrote:No, i add only the most used format, else you'll have non picture filehelmut wrote:...

I can't, because i don't try to read the file, so i can't know if it's a real picture.helmut wrote:Currently, all a bit less common file types are not added when using 'Add folder'.
