1.92: Blp-file problem

Some blp-files are not displayed correctly.
Here is an example of the problem:

On the left is how Xnview shows it and on the right is how it should be shown.
The blp-file in question can be found here: http://www.wormzone.net/img/Ability_Seal.blp

The problem seems to be that the alpha information for DXT5-type blp's are parsed the same way as the alpha information for DXT3-types.

• I tested your sample in two ways like shown below; at left,
with Use Alpha Channel ON (the chequered pattern is set), at right it's OFF :

   

• Indeed, it's not a wonder, your baby-seal is visible…but not better than your own image

It doesn't surprise me that you can't see the problem with the alpha channel if you set xnview to not use the alpha channel .

Hello !

• Did you read that I wrote above ? The image at left is WITH A-channel, and indeed, that doesn't work.

• At right, it's WITHOUT A-channel here.
- I set A-channel ON usually, I just disabled it to test your image.
