i reall like xnview a lot. but i'm missing a feature like custom sort.
e.g. when i'm preparing and sorting out the photos to post on my webpage i do this in rows of 4. and for that reason i always drag the photos to the position where they should be to get a better picture how they will look and fit online lateron. unfortunately this feature is not available with xnview
maybe this might be an idea of a new feature?
a feature like that can be found in acdsee and also in faststone image viewer...
that's the only reason why I do prefer Faststone or ACDSee. When XnView will support this feature, I will have no reason to use Faststone anymore...
Please, please, add this feature!!!! Renaming is too time consuming and demanding...
I also think that a custom sort would be very convenient and a good thing:
a.) Sorting in the browser seems intuitive to me.
b.) People could sort the images in the browser, select them all, and rename them easily with Batch rename. (Currently, sorting in the Batch rename dialog is possible but you can see only one image at a time).

Do You think Windows Explorer?
Don't know what You meant, but I meant Drag&Drop custom sorting, when You could grab image No 10 and place it before image No 5 for example... It's very useful for WWW galerie's creation...

I also mean sorting using Drag&Drop - similar to a light table.

Currently, the XnView browser does NOT support this. But I think that it would be good if XnView would support this. (We are in forum "Suggestions", here, typically we are talking about things that would be nice to have in a future version).
