Unicode data in Exif UserComment looks a little bit weired

Post by Pbaumann »

Hi,

if unicode (utf-16) is used in the EXIF:UserComment field, XNviews(193B2) output looks a litte bit strange. Each char is follwed by a gap which looks like a space.

Best wishes

Hi,

Unicode is part of the standard!

Take a look at http://www.exif.org/Exif2-2.PDF On Page 28 you can find the specification of the Exif UserComment field.

Possible character codes are ASCII,JIS,UNICODE and "Undefined".

Best wishes
