Can anyone explain the parameters in the BatchConvert -> Crop menu? Every post I see about it suggests using Resize instead and ignores the Crop command completely. I don't know the new size, I only know how much I want to remove, so resize won't work for me (I don't think).
I want to remove 55 pixels from the bottom all my images (and they aren't all the same height), I was assuming crop would help me do this, but I can't figure out how.

"Crop" is one way to crop an image, but it's parameters are limited. "Resize Canvas" (not: "Resize") offers the flexibility you need.Justin wrote:Can anyone explain the parameters in the BatchConvert -> Crop menu? Your resizing should work the following way, but due to a bug it does not:Justin wrote:I want to remove 55 pixels from the bottom all my images (and they aren't all the same height), I was assuming crop would help me do this, but I can't figure out how.
In "Batch processing" dialog (Tools > Batch processing), you choose "Resize Canvas" as transformation (on tab "Transformation").
As parameters you specify:
Height: -55
[ ] Keep Ration (off)
[x] Use above sizes as size delta
Position: [Top Center]
Re: BatchConvert -> Crop
That worked perfectly. Thanks for your help!
