MPEG thumbnails are wrong

Post by tcman41 »

Just found xnview and think it's a great product. A large number of my mpeg movies are being thumbnailed as black, upside down & blue or scrambled with green pixels.

How do i get thumbnails of the mpeg movies to be displayed correctly?

Thanks
Terry

It's a known bug (see 'Thumbnails of Avi files are displayed upsidedown'). Please wait for the next version of XnView.

When will the next version of xnview come out and will it be updated to display all mpeg thumbnails correctly?

I know there is a favorites button but it only seems to bookmark entire directories, is there going to be a way that way can bookmark our favorite mpegs?

Thanks

You can create m3u playlist with you mpegs in WMP or Winamp. You can add audio, video and even images to m3u playlist and then play it in WMP (old and new), MV2Player, and maybe also xnview will support m3u too sometimes...

TGA images upside down on pocket pc

Post by hezahonker »

I have been reading about the bug with avi files. Does this also pertain to TGA images. I go to batch resize in xnview and they look fine on the computer but when they are on the pocket pc (specifically, when used in Pocket Breeze) they appear upside down.
