Run XnView from USB key?

Is it possible to run XnView with personal settings from a USB key? Or does the program have to be actually installed on a particular computer?

No you can use it, store db+settings in application folder

I have used XnView with an USB-stick for some while now, works excellent. Personally I use it with PortableAppsSuite.

I have got an U3-USB stick from verbatim (also available from other vendors). The stick comes with the U3 software installed, it automatically starts an application called "Launchpad". It add it's own kind of start menu. In this menu you will find a "add programs" function. This connects you to the U3 download portal. Here you'll find XnView. Installation is just one click.
