Hi
Using my digital camera - I have a lot of img######.jpg files.
I want to rename my files using the EXIF-data stored inside the file plus some text. Using the <Date Taken> mask - this gives both the date and time in a very long format (YYYY-MM-DD_HH-MM-SS) and I only need the date
I want to rename these files to YYYYMMDD (read from the EXIF) plus some text (YYYYMMDD Description).
Is this possible as a batch-renaming process?
Lars

Re: Batch-renaming files
Currently this is not possible, but a discussion is already going on, see topic 'Batch Rename - Date formats and unique incremental index'. Please add comments there.Lars Holm Thomsen wrote:... I want to rename these files to YYYYMMDD (read from the EXIF) plus some text (YYYYMMDD Description).
