Saving B/W image results in large file

I make a image for PhotoMasque Mask by Windows Paint(the color of image just black and white) and I save it as bmp
Then I fomat the bmp image to jpg(use 100% Quality) by XnView, but the size of result is too big...

JPEG doens't support b&W format, but you can try greyscale
