Thumbnail click detection sometimes incorrect!

Post by ghost zero »

1.94.2

Thumbnail click detection is sometimes incorrect. When clicking near the left or right inside edge of a thumbnail, sometimes the nearby thumbnail is mistakenly selected instead of the clicked one. Can this be fixed?

BTW: I have thumbnail size set to 100x100.

"Binary" size ?

:) Hello !

• I could not reproduce that issue here, maybe because I use a 96² thumb nail size (which matches a ² binary value…).

Space & border ?

:) Again…

• In your INI, I notice that you have “0” for the spacing and the border…
- What does occur with let's say, 1 pixel at the two ?
- Here, I've :
BorderSize=2
Spacing=3

:) Again…
…does the problem occur for you with my ini?
• No, it doesn't, I have still a kind of thin “neutral” area between the thumb nails
before to get the neighbour one activated when clicking…

:? Wait and see whether some other users will be able to reproduce…

No problem here either using your INI.

- I guess that it isn't XnView-related, but it could be caused by your mouse-cursor
(some cursors having the “hotspot” badly located).

- Maybe could you try another cursor (or edit yours and check the hotspot location, i.e. in GFIE…) ?
