1.95 RC1 - Possible Edit IPTC City Bug
I just noticed that when I try to modify the city in the "Edit IPTC data" dialog that it always resets to whatever was previously located there upon pressing "write".
All the other location fields work as expected.
All the other location fields work as expected.
Re: 1.95 RC1 - Possible Edit IPTC City Bug
I can confirm this IPTC bug with "create or update XMP" checked.xnview wrote:I can't confirm, 'update xmp' is checked?
1-) add a city \ write
2-) reopen crtl+i and try to change the city name \ write
then the bug occurs.

Re: 1.95 RC1 - Possible Edit IPTC City Bug
For example this image below:
Here, this bug occurs into this Origin tab, only if "create or update XMP" is checked, and only if i try to change these two fields:
city field (paris)
sublocation field (ccccc).
All the other location fields work as expected into this Origin tab for me.

Re: 1.95 RC1 - Possible Edit IPTC City Bug
Yes.xnview wrote:So the problem is only with "create or update XMP"??
I have made a new complete IPTC test, and in fact, this bug occur also with some others fields for me, when "create or update XMP" is checked:
Origin tab:
City
Sublocation
Miss. tab:
Original transmission reference
Date / Time tab:
Date created(YYYYMMDD)
Time Created
(All the other fields, or keywords work as expected for me now, even if "create or update XMP" is checked)
And you can reproduce it now ?
