Hello,
at the moment, if the mouse is moved over an open image the pixel coordinates are show at the upper border (x:.. y:..). It could be nice, if this field could be switched to show the color values like RGB or CMYK instead the coordinates.
Regards,
Micha
Wish: color value info per mouse arrow

As suggested by Troken, please press Ctrl+Shift+i and move the mouse a bit, then you will see the colour info as tooltip.Micha wrote:Thank you for the hints. If possible, I would like to see the RGB infos instead the coordinates. Or maybe it possible to show both?
If you want to have the colour info displayed always and not just for the current image, please see topic Show colour info not saved….

color picker - add (copy to clipboard / paste) function
In an other hand, this function for me is not enough powerful, it would be also interesting with this function (color picker) to have the ability to copy the text result into the clipboard in case of left mouse click( for example), and not only inside the picture, but anywhere in the screen.
Then it will be very easy to paste the result into an other field or document.
Maybe with an other small (light) dedicated XnView stand alone executable: XnViewColorPicker.exe ? (like the stand alone XnViewMediaDetector.exe)
See here too, some others colors picker softwares:
