Extract multipage TIFF to other format than BMP

I need to split multipage tiffs. The page/extract all works great but images are saved as bmp. Is there a way to change the format used to save the images ?

¤ Moreover, the original file-names are not retrieved, we get names like :
Test-DCX.dcx_extract_001.bmp
- Neither the original name nor the original extension are saved in the TIFF / DCX.
- I support your request, enhancing it to the file-name recovering (with or without the original extension as optional)
