Removing Metadata without Saving

Post by checkerfred »

Can someone tell me how to do this? I tried the clean metadata option but it does nothing to my image.

Edit...weird...its working now

In Browser select images (you can search pictures in more folders and click "Browse", then select images), in menu > edit > metadata, choose "clean" - is that what you've tried? It works perfect here.

Works here.

The irritating part is that you have to tick the checkboxes for deletion. One would rather expect that you tick the checkboxes of the metadata you want to keep.

I'm not sure about this. If "clean" is selected, then you should select what to clean/remove. Of course the checkboxes are not optimal, [x] would be better maybe, but when you change it now, it would be confusing for existing users IMHO.
