No 'Image' item in main menu

I am really stumped by this: I no longer have an IMAGE item in my top menu. Here's what I have:

FILE | EDIT | VIEW | TOOLS | CREATE | WINDOW | INFO

There used to be an IMAGE item, and this is confirmed in the HELP documentation:

How To Increase or Reduce the Size of an Image:
• Open the image file.
• Choose the Menu item Image > Resize.

I checked OPTIONS and can't see anywhere I might have turned it off somehow...

XnView version: 1.96.5
OS: Win7-64

In my Windows XP version 1.96.5 there is a menu item for IMAGE - between View and Filter.

You know, I've been using XnView for so long... yet I did not realize the IMAGE menu item only shows up when you are on an active image tab! I was in the Browser tab -- that's why it was not showing up! I was clicking on the image preview and expecting to see the Image item in the top menu so I could resize it. But you have to open the image first by doubleclicking on it.

So, false alarm. Thanks for your reply, jpm...
