I support this request.

Images look neater with a thin border. But the border should be configurable (colour, on/off).

Thank you you guys, I hope to see this very small feature added in soon, it just adds a neatness to it.

OK, I made a lot of requests recently,

Might this 'borderline around images' make it in time for Xnview MP?

Should be as simple as just a tickbox alongside a colour selector

Pierre,

You have added this request in Xnview MP 0.25 alpha with colour selector, thank you :) although you need to address the following two:

1. The border line is not displaying properly around any image viewed, please fix
2. Where is the same matching border for top and bottom of image (horizontal), please fix

I have snapped two screenshots the first of Windows XP's default view and second of Xnview MP 0.25 with border enabled for a comparison
(Tree.jpg can be found in Vista's default 'sample pictures')
Image Image
see how the border displays on Win XP's default viewer, this is what it should look like in mp

OK this problem is only happening for some images and not all, so I think it's just a small bug that could be addressed in future
