Add "Focus mode" to the list of EXIF-image options

I am surprised that Focus Mode (ie, AF or Manual focussing) isn't listed in the list of EXIF attributes when you click on EXIF-image (in Options/View/Fullscreen). Is there some problem with adding this? I'm sure it must have come up before, although I couldn't find it in a search of Suggestions.

Focus mode is in Makernotes?

I'm not sure how to view Makernotes. When I look at the EXIF information (I have Xnview 1.96.2) it has a section at the top called Camera, then another longer section called Image. "Focus Mode" isn't in either of those, but I can't see "Maker Notes". It is probably just my ignorance, but can you tell me how to see maker notes?
