Export with categoris

Is there any way too be able too use the categories on two computers in a network .
I am not too fond over that i maybe have too do all the categories again on my second computer. I am using an extern disk for accessing my photos, witch I have copy My Pictures too.


this is probably not in the correct topic, bu some nice person maybe is kind too move it if necessary.

If you have them on EXACTLY the same network drives and paths on both PCs, it's really really simple: Just copy %appdata%\XnView\category.db to the second PC. Copy it back and forth when you update it, or get a syncronization program to do it for you. (%appdata% expands to C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming on Vista/7, or C:\Documents and Settings\<name>\Application Data on 2k/XP.)

If they're not, you'd have to use a custom script to keep them in sync, which gets nasty pretty quickly.
