nConvert v5.6 command line error

Post by quik »

I get the following error when using v5.6 command:

D:\apps\nConvert>nconvert -out jpeg waterwheel.ai
** NCONVERT v5.60 (c) 1991-2010 Pierre-E Gougelet (Feb 26 2010/10:09:43) **
Version for Windows NT/9x/2000/Xp/Vista (All rights reserved)
** This is a freeware software (for non commercial use)

Error: Can't create file (waterwheel.ai)

This command is pretty basic, and it works under the previous version 5.54

I'm running this on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2

Ok, right a bug. Add -overwrite

Hi Pierre and thanks a lot for XnView and NConvert.
The -overwrite is exactly what I needed, and unfortunately it was missing from the 5.60 -help (but it's now in the 5.62 -help).
If it's easy, it would be nice to display something like "Error: Can't overwrite file (waterwheel.ai). Use -overwrite to overwrite it." instead of simply "Error: Can't create file (waterwheel.ai)".
