ImageShack plugin doesn't upload .PNG files. Can this be fixed?

I have other problems with Imageshack (-plugin)
From my office I can not upload with the plugin, and last week I could not upload using the Standard(!)-Imageshack-Website. http://imageshack.us/

But on the side I found a link: "Can't upload? Try this ...."

There I could start another Imageshack-side, and it worked fine.

Now the question:
Which feature is used by the plugin?
Is there a way to change the target-sides of Imageshack?
