Passport Photo Option

Post by budz45 »

With combing the 'contact sheet' feature add more options for creating passport strips form single headhsot images taken

add input fields and some existing advanced features on the 'contact sheet' for predeifned regional sizes such as

USA/Canada - 2.00 cm x 2.00 cm

UK - 3.50 cm x 4.50 cm

European Union - 3.50 cm x 4.50 cm

Brazil - 5.00 cm x 7.00 cm

The fixed sizes should be exact and also can be edittable upon any regional changes

With previews before creating the page strip, you can call all of this 'passport mode' - just an idea as it would suit Xnview without manually having to rezise images and so on..

You want only the size (in cm) of the final picture, right?
Pierre.

Yeah - but in the similar way that this program here can do it ----> http://www.onthegosoft.com/passport_photo.htm

You see the link, can Xnview include a plugin or maybe a new featrure like that, it would be quite cool, thanks author

I still support the feature to be introduced but in the future:

This is a mediocre mock up of what I mean

I know this is an old topic :)

..But was just recently thinking.

In the more far future, for XnViewMP, in viewer (under tools), still a "Passport Photo" feature could exist and would work as a feature similar to a future 'Create strip of images' in future MP

Under 'Tools' menu.

Also this feature be better named as 'Wallet Photo'? ...to give it some uniqueness in XnView.
