Convert .tif to resized .png from windows command prompt

Post by michelle »

Hello, I just need to convert .tif files into .png files and resize the canvas of these .png's. I need to do this from windows command prompt. I don't need the gui at all. I would like the simplest tool that works.

I thought nconvert http://www.xnview.com/en/features_nc.html would be perfect... but nconvert doesn't seem to have the functionality of telling me the input file width. I need this to know the resize % for the png.

Will XnView Convert do the job (from command line) or do I need something else?

Thank-you in advance, Michelle
