Slide show text not working

Hi there,

I'm facing a problem that concerns a slideshow. If I display the slideshow or save it as an exe-file everything works fine: My filename is displayed at the bottom center with a background. However if I want to create a video of the slideshow (tried Divx and Xvid) the text seems not to be included, ergo missing.

Am I doing something wrong or missed some settings that concern the video creation?

Is there any chance in achieving this "feature" in any other way with XnView?

HI,
I am facing the same problem.
The 'Creating File Show' function is very useful for me and I use it quite a lot. I have used it to create a video file e.g. .wmv, from several hundred pictures,
and it works just great.
However, it would have been even more useful if it were possible to add captions to the pictures.
All the facilities for doing so seem to be there, however, regardless of what options I tick no text appears on my video.

I'm running the most recent version, v1.98.5, but still this problem does not seem to have been fixed.

Please fix it!
