RC4: Preview disappears after dbl click on Preview
Preview disappears after dbl click on Preview in the Browser (to go to Viewer) and dbl click on image in Viewer (to go back to the Browser) - only if you don't switch the images in Viewer. Dbl click on thumbnail works good.
Re: RC4: Preview disappears after dbl click on Preview...
For me, the preview doesn't disappear instead another image is displayed in the preview pane while the original image is still selected. Another focus problem I think. Lite-fullscreen mode is disabled.Dreamer wrote:Preview disappears after dbl click on Preview in the Browser (to go to Viewer) and dbl click on image in Viewer (to go back to the Browser) - only if you don't switch the images in Viewer. You have LMB as "Browser-Full/Edit-Full", and the problem is when you dbl click on preview? I can't reproduce it??Dreamer wrote:Preview disappears after dbl click on Preview in the Browser (to go to Viewer) and dbl click on image in Viewer (to go back to the Browser) - only if you don't switch the images in Viewer. OK, try to reproduce my bug:
- default settings (probably not important)
- LMB dbl click to switch between "Edit mode and Browser"
- go to browser
- dbl click on preview (not on thumbnail)
- dbl click on image in viewer (don't switch images first!)
= there is no image in preview window
I can't re-produce your bug.
Heres how I tried it:
1. LMB dbl click to switch between "Edit mode and Browser"
2. In XnView, Browser mode
3. Select a file (only single click)
4. dbl click on preview (not on thumbnail)
5. dbl click on image in viewer (don't switch images first!)
6. XnView chooses some other image to show as preview!
Update!!!
I can fix this bug, by disabling "Synchronize Browser selection with current view"

Re: RC4: Preview disappears after dbl click on Preview...
= for me also the first file in the folder is shown in the preview area of the browser but the file i dbl clicked on is still selected (just like ckit described it). The same happens if you close a tab with the mdl mouse btn.Dreamer wrote:...ckit has wrong picture and I have no picture in previewxnview wrote:I've always the old picture in preview...![]()

Funny thing is, if you use the middle mouse button to switch between edit mode and fullscreen it works when you click on the browser's preview area.
Another problem and how to reproduce it:
- Set up the middle mouse button to switch between edit mode and browser
- open browser and mdl click on a thumb (or file) and it will jump to edit view as expected
- if you now mdl click on this edit view mode, you will keep switching back and forth between the edit mode and fullscreen though - instead of switching between edit mode and browser. So you can't get back to the browser without closing the tab.
- and if you do close the tab manually the other problem re-occurrs: the first file in the folder will be displayed in the browser's preview area instead of the selcted file.
I don't have "my" bug now (with my old .ini file), I had "Synchronize..." option always enabled, strange...ckit wrote:Update!!!

[ But I still have "my" bug with default options, ckit, try to reproduce "my" bug with default options please. ] - never mind, please wait for my ne post...
ckit, I can reproduce your bug now.
I have skipped one step I did, try again please (sorry)
- default settings
- options > browser > file list > Items shown in thumbnail mode - mark [x] Folders
- LMB dbl click to switch between "Edit mode and Browser"
- in the browser go to any image - don't use the folder tree!
- dbl click on preview (not on thumbnail)
- dbl click on image in viewer (don't switch images first!)
= there is no image in preview window
