What is "Fit over (W or H)"

Post by Nelson »

In v1.90, the Resize function has an option called "Fit over (W or H)".

Can somebody tell me what it is?

Thanks.

Check this suggestion: 'Fit in' resizes the picture so that it fits entirely into the specified area (+empty borders) whereas 'Fit over' resizes the picture so that it fills the specified area (+extra borders cropped).

Here is an illustration (taken from 'Photoweb'):
__________Fit in_____________________Fit over________

I got it, thanks.
It would be good if there also is a "Best fit over" option for "Set as Wallpaper".
