DEL key should auto-display next picture

Assume I have a folder with 3 pictures.
I opened the first image with XnView and hit the DEL key.

As a result the current picture file is deleted but still displayed in window.

How can I tell XnView to automatically display the next available picture (instead of the current one)?

If the current pic is the last in the current folder then only a black window (background) should be displayed.

Currently XnView seems to crash in such a case.

This does NOT work if the loaded picture(s) are *.png images.

I think this is a bug
