Hello...
I am running XnView MP 0.35 on Mac OS X 10.6.6 on the first Intel-based Macbook Pro 17"
Auto Color Correction is a function common in Photoshop, also called RGB auto-levels in Aperture, which removes a color cast from most images. There was a forum thread that discussed Auto Color Correction, in which it was suggested to use Normalize, Autolevels and Autocontrast. http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=16702 That workflow doesn't seem to remove the color cast. There hasn't been any updates to this thread in a couple years. Has there been any progress to implement something like Auto Color Correction to automatically remove color cast in images?
Automatic Levels is another area I am interested in how it is progressing. The following thread says XnView Automatic Levels at the time "linear". Is this still the case? What's the future hold for Automatic Levels? The thread hasn't had an update in three years. http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=14113
Thanks,
Robert.
