Hello,

is it possible to create his own screen layout? Or can I just use the predefined ones? I would like to have the preview AND the EXIF-data (or the IPCT data) visible in two different windows. Is this possible?

I don't think there's a way to make XnView v1.9 display both the preview tab and the EXIF/ITPC panel side by side.

You may want to give the latest beta of XnView MP a try: View » Layout » Free.

XnView does not support arbitrary layouts, but the existing layouts can be tweaked and perhaps also your needs can be fulfilled.

By clicking the small min/max arrows in the pane separator you can see the preview either as seperate area/pane or as tab. When viewing as seperate area/pane you can see preview and EXIF data at the same time.
