Multipage information text

Please consider the idea of a multipage indicator for information text.
Similar to what was done with tagged files. Tag: <Tag status>. It would be more subtle than a special dialog and suitable for animated images too.

And may I continue by suggesting a little iconic symbol for thumbnail users? Exif shows well... [exif]. Multipage could show... [#].

Thanks for reading.

The current range of thumbnail symbols include:
automatic rotation
embedded thumbnail
has icc profile

color label
has category

With formats like GIF you won't know unless you view the file. The same goes for TIFFs or PSDs: Only when a document is opened will XnView tell the user that “this image contains multiple pages. Please use ‘Previous page’ and ‘Next page’ to navigate between the pages.”

XnView needs an animation overlay icon and/or multi-page indicator*. (In ThumbsPlus they're called “decorations”.)
