What does "Image Data" (Ctrl + shift+c) is supposed to do ?

What does "Image Data" (Ctrl + shift+c) is supposed to do ? ... because it does nothing here (MP linux 0.56 version x64)

I think most XnView software users are acclimated with the name "Image Data" since it dates back to times of XnView classic. I'm ok with the existing name...
