Hello everyone,
currently have more than 9,000 images in my stock photos and I created categories filter on my machine, but I need to change computers.
Tried exporting old computer and import the computer, the categories appeared but the images were not marked, I will need to reschedule all 9000 again ???
I use XnViewMP version 0.72 x64, had installed the latest version, but some images in .EPS and .AI not appear and was forced to use that version.
Help me, please.
thank you

For clarification, you are using Windows, and used a migration utility for the transfer?leo147 wrote:Hello everyone,

You were also using XnView MP on the old computer?
You may need to install Ghostscript on the new computer, if you haven't already.leo147 wrote:I use XnViewMP version 0.72 x64, had installed the latest version, but some images in .EPS and .AI not appear and was forced to use that version.
If you were using XnView MP on the old computer, you can check whether all files necessary for correct display of your images have been transferred to the new computer by checking for correct transfer of the files shown in Tools > Settings > Integration > Paths, and if necessary transfer any missing files manually.
I'm not very familiar with the categories functions myself, but the above information should help someone more knowledgeable if you need further help...
Re: [HELP] importing categories
Yes, I am using Windows 7 and 8.1, but the pictures are on a server
and both computers are using XnViewMP.
Yes, Ghostscript installed on the new computer.
I am also trying to edit the IPTC / XMP files as .EPS and .AI but I can not.
Is there any way to unlock for editing?

For this reason, I have disabled writing of XMP to these files.
