Gamma corrected thumbnails.
An option to gamma correct thumbnails might be useful for old dim monitors.

Not for experts---

- Extra INI-entries are not specially for expert-users ! I use that for years in Total Commander, and I can say you that even fresh newbies add some simple ones… In example, having a flag to set as either "1" or "0" = Yes / No.
- For the case you quote, an average correction value could be defined by Pierre, then set or not…

Re: Gamma corrected thumbnails.
Shouldn't the same Gamma correction be applied to both image view and thumbnails by default?xnview wrote:Ok, perhaps a good option for some usersmarsh wrote:An option to gamma correct thumbnails might be useful for old dim monitors.
Note:
Currently Gamma correction can be set in options dialog, category "View".

I also think that linking them is better than seperate controls. Why use a giant hammer on a small nail?helmut wrote:Shouldn't the same Gamma correction be applied to both image view and thumbnails by default?xnview wrote:Ok, perhaps a good option for some usersmarsh wrote:An option to gamma correct thumbnails might be useful for old dim monitors.
