Today, I backuped my pics (Olympus orf raw files) to my notebook. While reviewing, I noticed XnView reporting a resolution of 2620 x 1956 px, instead of the expected 5240 x 3912 px. The camera (Olympus OM-D EM1 Mark II) says the pictures have the correct resolution, and my OS (Win 10 21H1) shows 5240 x 3912 in the file properties as well.
Accessing the orf-files on the SD Card directy, XnView is still reporting 2620 x 1956 px, while windows file properties show 5240 x 3912 px. I assume this is a bug in XnView MP, but the idea of taking pictures with a quarter of the expected resolution is still worrying.
I tried to upload an example, but you do not seem to accept orf files.
Any informations on this issue available?

Welcome to the forum, Winkelsucher.
What is your configuration in Tools → Settings… → Formats → Read → Camera RAW → Use (Embedded preview | Half size | Full size)?

Re: XnView MP reporting wrong resolution of orf files..
Thanks for the warm welcome. The respective setting is "embedded preview".
Re: XnView MP reporting wrong resolution of orf files..
I found an ORF sample and was expecting that changing the setting from Embedded preview to Full size would fix the issue. But it didn't

Prior to version 0.99.0, MP's RAW functions were “based on dcraw from Dave Coffin” (Help → About → Credits). Later versions use “Libraw instead of dcraw”. So I changed the value for the RAWUseLibRaw entry in the [Load] section of xnview.ini from true to false. XnView now reports the correct dimensions, regardless of the settings in Tools → Settings… → Formats → Read → Camera RAW.
PS: It's a known issue.
