Normally in the thumbnails view, the thumbnails just load and that's it.
But when you uncheck Browser -> Items displayed -> 'All other files' in the 'Show item in view 'Thumbnails'' column, the thumbnails flicker a few times (the thumbail window is cleared and quickly redrawn again) when selecting a folder from the tree (or pressing F5).
The more pictures in a folder, the bettter it's visible.
It does this even when there are no 'other files' in the folder. Or, even more bizarre, when View -> Filter by is set to Images, the flickering still occurs. As said, the flickering stops when 'All other files' is checked again.
I've reproduced this on 3 different winXP pc's, with all other settings left to their installation defaults. This bug was already present in 1.80.3 and still is in the last (1.82b3) beta.
As you can imagine the flickering is pretty annoying
