{File Type} tag displaying non-standard file size units

By which I mean that it displays "MiB" (Men in Black? :D ) instead of the notoriously conventional "MB" for megabytes; and "KiB" instead of "KB" for kylobytes, as in:

That's obviously in the Thumbnail + labels view in Browser mode.

Edit: Unless that was done deliberately, as such current units do actually exist, but are apparently very, very niche - which, by its own nature goes against common wisdom.

1 KB = 1000 bytes
1 KiB = 1024 bytes

Yeah, though I'd realised that as being the case, as I mentioned it in the OP, I was hoping the more popular/well known unity would prevail in the end.
